DirecTV, the leading satellite provider in the country is scheduled to launch its next satellite DIRECTV 11 on Monday, March 17. DIRECTV 11 is to be launched by the Sea Launch, a company based in Long Beach, California which has launched 25 rockets and has a success rate of more than 90%. Sea Launch, is preparing for the launch and the liftoff is planned at 22.49 GMT on Monday, March 17. This sea based launch will place the satellite on the optimum position on Earth’s surface and will reduce cost comparing the land based launch.
